Map terms

Short version: use it, keep the credit, don't copy the tiles away.

The SDK code is open source under the MIT licence. These terms cover what it loads from dzbot.de: the map tiles and the place names.

You may

Use the maps on any website or in any app, free of charge — including community and server sites that take donations or run a shop. You may draw anything on top of them and build your own tools around them.

You must

Keep the © dzbot.de credit in the corner of the map visible and readable. Load tiles and names through the SDK or the embed, the way a person viewing the map would.

You may not

Download the tiles or place names in bulk, mirror or re-host them, sell them, or offer them as your own map or data set. Don't suggest that dzbot endorses your project.

From our side

The service is free and comes without warranty. We may limit traffic that looks like scraping, and we may change these terms; breaking changes to the SDK only come with a new major version.

The maps are drawn from the game data of DayZ. DayZ is a trademark of Bohemia Interactive a.s.; dzbot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bohemia Interactive.
