Public server data
How full every DayZ server on the dzbot server list is — right now, at prime time and quarter hour by quarter hour over 90 days — including the console servers that do not run dzbot. Free, no key, no account.
dzbot.de, keep to the rate limit, don't resell the data.// Try itNo key needed
curl "https://api.dzbot.de/api/public/search/listed_server?platform=playstation®ion=anywhere&lang=en&limit=50"
The same API runs every dzbot server, so the base URL, the search syntax and the reference are the ones you use later for your own server's data.
// EndpointsWhat you can ask
| Endpoint | Answers |
|---|---|
GET /api/public/search/listed_server | Every server on the list, busiest first, with filters, sorting and paging |
GET /api/public/server-list/{id} | One server: everything the list row has, plus its wipes and owner content for servers on dzbot |
GET /api/public/server-list/{id}/activity | Its players per quarter hour, hour or day, up to 90 days back |
GET /api/public/search/schema | Every filter and sort the list takes, with their values |
{id} is the row's id: the subdomain of a server on dzbot, or a short id for a server that is not. When a server joins dzbot, its old id keeps answering with the new one.
// The listFilters and paging
| Parameter | Meaning |
|---|---|
platform | pc, xbox, playstation, switch (repeat the key for several) |
map | chernarus, livonia, sakhal, nasdara, other |
region | eu, na, sa, as, oc, af or anywhere. Without it, the list is limited to the region of the address asking — pass anywhere from a server or script. |
lang | en or de: the language of description and path (otherwise taken from Accept-Language) |
primePlayers, slots | A range such as 20.. or 10..60 |
q | Free text on the name |
sort | activity (default), wipe, new; -key reverses |
page, limit | The page (from 1) and its size, at most 200 |
Each item carries its values in fields; page.total says how many servers match.
// FieldsWhat a server row says
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id, name, ghost | Its id, its name, and whether it is not on dzbot (then only what dzbot measures is known) |
map, platform, location, region | Where and what it runs; location is the datacenter's country |
slots, onlineNow, queue | Its slots, players online and waiting right now (updated every 5 minutes; null when not measured lately) |
primePlayers7d | Players online at once on average over the 6 busiest hours of the day, last 7 days — what the list ranks by |
peakPlayers7d | Most players at once in the last 7 days |
hourlyPlayers | 24 averages, UTC hours 0–23, over the last 7 days |
whitelist, firstPersonOnly, mouseAndKeyboard | How it lets players in and play; null when not measured |
subdomain, listedAt | Its dzbot subdomain (null when not on dzbot) and when it joined the list |
// HistoryActivity over time
curl "https://api.dzbot.de/api/public/server-list/{id}/activity?resolution=15m&days=1"| Parameter | Meaning |
|---|---|
resolution | 15m (default) or 1h: one point per quarter hour or hour, days 1–7 (default 1 and 7). 1d: one point per day, days 1–90 (default 30). A window longer than a week is read in days. |
to | When the window ends, ISO 8601 such as 2026-10-20T18:00:00Z (default now) — to look at a day further back |
The answer holds resolution, from and to (UTC) and one entry per complete period, oldest first: at (its start), players (online at once on average), peak, queuePeak and slots (at the period's last poll). A period dzbot could not measure is null — tell that apart from 0, a period nobody played; slots is also null when nobody was on. dzbot keeps 90 days. The history comes from the game's server browser, so servers it does not list (PC servers) have none.
// Which serversWho is on the list
Every server on dzbot whose owner keeps it listed, and every console server not on dzbot that is open to everyone, was seen in the last 24 hours and has at least 5 players at prime time. A server owner who does not want to be on it can opt out — see the terms.
// ContractWhat stays stable
The endpoints, filters, sorts and fields on this page are stable: we may add to them at any time, but we don't remove or rename one without announcing it at least 30 days ahead in the changelog. Anything else the answers carry may change.
// Fair useLimits and caching
Up to 120 requests a minute per address; past that you get 429 with a Retry-After header. Name region and lang in a list request: then the answer is the same for everyone and comes straight from our cache. The numbers change every 5 minutes, the history's last quarter hour every quarter hour and its last day once a day, so poll at most every 5 minutes and cache what you show. Browsers may call the endpoints from any website (CORS is open).
